A little sense of 'Band of Brothers'happening in the burning mists, even though I'm listening to the English Patient sound track! for me anyway.thanks every time for a look at your wonderful work.Such a wholesome talent.

I like this.. has a feeling of being underwater, but not helplessly so. It's very calming

Painting like that looks like a lot of fun. I should try it some time. I like the hint of pink amongst all the blue. ^^

I love the subtlety of this. It's very much alive in its own way.

You've put me on the spot now,Birgit!
Where do I start? Well,I love trees, and the way they silently work and they're a cleansing mechanism for the Earth. We have a long history with them.I see them here, scattered on dusty land that's being primed for housing. Some dug up.Others being pruned but it's also the organic nature of things that interest me.Yes,I suppose there's always metaphor and that I use the root or the fallen tree as symbol for something much deeper going on and that's a given!
I go with it,an idea, something I see that's obviously related to my state of mind,or my anima at that time and I guess, right now,it relates to my melancholia and thank you for the affirmation on the work
