Encaustics are such a challenge. I am pleased how this turned out even though I had intended a different look to the piece.

That's not out of the question. The only thing I worry about is the sharp edges.

I'm told aluminium works well, and you can round the edges off and no rust.
Never tried it myself though - I'm more of a drawist with watercolour!
