This has me wondering which trolls most closely match the personalities of the Gorillaz. Noodle and Aradia have a few things in common, now that I think about it. Other than being recreated as robots, that is.

I don't think Murdoc has a clear match, but maybe a conglomeration of Eridan, Vriska, and Sober Gamzee?
And I have absolutely no idea for Russel. Equius? Mixed with Feferi?

I don't know if Murdoc is quite that evil. He's more like what Eridan would be if he wasn't so desperate and had the manners of a rock star. Russel is a mechanic, and is not always the best tempered, so I think Equius is about the best match for him.

Murdoc has: Sold his soul to the devil; Smashed 2D with a car, putting him into a coma and breaking his eye; abused 2D the entire time he was in a coma; smashed 2D through a car window, breaking his other eye and most of his face; kidnapped Russel; ruined all of 2D's relationships; beat 2D the entire time he has known him, contributing to 2D's painkiller addiction and mental issues; gotten Noodle dragged to Hell as a result of his deal with the devil; replaced Noodle with an evil cyborg; kidnapped 2D and forced him to live on a little trash island with his worst fear right out the window waiting to eat him; forced 2D play/sing for his band even after 2D realized what a horrible person Murdoc is; plus many other thing I don't want to write right now.
He did all this and thought it was HILARIOUS. Completely unrepentant.
If anything, I think Vriska and Sober Gamzee are better than him. At least they have SOME good qualities.
As for Russel, he was actually quite well tempered and intelligent. He occasionally protected 2D from Murdoc, so I think Equius makes a pretty good match. Like how Equius tried to help Nepeta all the time.
