Description My own version of furthark, the script reads "fears bane boar hearted". Boars are still a symbol of fearlessness in combat, the norse and the celts both respected this fierceness, even the romans would sometimes use a boar as a legion standard. I love the rope work on this piece. The bronze is polished to a high shine, this will fade somewhat to a natural patina once the owner starts wearing it.

The metal is ancient bronze (cu90:sn10) very tough metal, it is harder then cast iron, I alloy the metal myself using copper scraps (wires, pipes) and tin. This piece can be cast in silver too. The metal weighs about 22 grams (heavy pendant), and is about 4.5cm in diameter. The cord is a bit different this time, it's five weave flat cord (instead of 3 cord braid, this can be changed) waxed hemp with adjustable length.

Another awesome finished product. Can I ask how hot you run your smelter for this alloy? Thanks

My little propane crucible furnace gets to about 1000c before the alloy is ready to pour.
