I have yet to see the ocean with my own two broken eyes,I have yet to breathe the air of the blue reflecting the sky,
Lost I always am,
Without the need for sight.
Broken-hearted dreams,
Thoughts break the silence,
Of dark midnight prayers.
Sight is the thing,
Just outside of reach.
Where have you gone?
Stranded on your hopes,
Lost within your dream.
I hope you know the way,
I hope you know the key.
Without you close at hand,
I wish to see the ocean.
But, I doubt I ever can.
