In honor of Steve Irwin, I did a drawing of an original character for my Kim Possible stories based loosely on him— she's interacted with other TV personalities, so why not an Australian reptile guy with a sensible American wife? I hardly expected Steve-o to die, but I think the character I made up does him no dishonor. I bet if Bob and Mark had offered him a cameo on the show, he would've loved the idea.Anyway, this is the scene where Kim, Ron, and Monique (the big fan) meet Crocodile Jack and Crocodile Kate from my story, "Save the Whales." They're both going to appear in my new story, "Shego's Baby," as well. Drakken works as a robotics engineer for Crocodile Jack's Zoo.

Actually, when I used a parody of Steve and Terry Irwin in my Kim Possible fanfics, and drew this picture, he was very much alive, and his show was very popular. I used the couple in the same spirit as Disney corp turning Dan Rather (a network newscaster from way back) into Stan Blather for Rescue Rangers, or had a Kiwi chieftain talk like Ed Sullivan in the same show. The Irwins seemed like the kind of people Kim might cross paths with.
