Description
Experimenting with branches here; how to show the depth and complexity without overwhelming the pic. Not sure it worked, but there are things I like about it.20" x 16", bark paper and Stardream metallic paper.

The pale green ground gives it a very open, park-like feel, to me. I think the horizontal lines also do a good job of defining layers of visual space so that the branch-patterns don't get too complex and overwhelming.

You are kind! I always feel pulled between the very formal and structured, and the swirling, flowing lines. This is one of the few pieces that is strong on both.
