Description Experimenting with branches here; how to show the depth and complexity without overwhelming the pic. Not sure it worked, but there are things I like about it.

20" x 16", bark paper and Stardream metallic paper.

Art Nouveau crossed with Art Deco and tugged gently into the twenty first century... William Morris would have liked this.

The pale green ground gives it a very open, park-like feel, to me. I think the horizontal lines also do a good job of defining layers of visual space so that the branch-patterns don't get too complex and overwhelming.

You are kind! I always feel pulled between the very formal and structured, and the swirling, flowing lines. This is one of the few pieces that is strong on both.
