Textures! Amate bark, Amate bark lace paper, lokta, and an unryu lace paper. And the usual Stardream metallic for the little lines and edges. I had to make one quickly to replace a sale at a show. This had been on my mind for a while, and went together very fast. I'll frame it tonight and deliver it tomorrow.12" x 10"

Yes!Β Thank you - that's just it!Β You do see into things, don't you?Β I looked at your gallery - without the titles you've given them, the images are just random shapes and textures, but the titles make them into visual poems.

you're welcome and thanks for the kind comments about my gallery. i've always found beauty in the often ignored or overlooked shapes and textures where ever i go...can look a bit strange to someone watching me walking across a parking lot where i spot a leaf that is dressed in exquisite form...picking it up and walking back to my car to put it between the pages of a pressing book...have made hundreds of patterns based on the textures of one leaf (early pages of my gallery if you wanted to investigate)...love the tactile nature of paper and what can be done with it...also prefer being outside rather than being indoors..love thunderstorms and photographing lightning when i canΒ
