Yoshi's a generally friendly character. He's that kinda feller who would give you the cloths off his back....if he wore cloths. :V So, no surprise, when he saw someone sitting alone, bawling uncontrollably, he went over to see why this kid was weeping so much. Little did Yoshi know, this "kid" was someone he already knew...a younger version of someone already existing in the same time frame as Yoshi.........someone whom is misplaced in time........causing another time-traveling paradox. :m

I dunno why, but I really love this Yoshi/Grubba combo. It's fun pairing two, completely opposite characters together as "Awkward Friends". You know, that weird type of friendship where one likes the other, but the latter doesn't like the former.   One is a caring dino with a heart of gold....and the other is a careless dino with a very corrupted heart. (referring to his canon adultself, and not his fan-made teenself seen here).

This was also a fun, little project I did as a means to practice with more muted-colors. Because Yoshi and Grubba's colors are so bright, it was even more fun toning down their colors to that desaturated, muted-color. In order for their toned-down colors to make since, I decided to go with an overcast-like scene.

Teen Grubba's outfit is based off the lead singer of The Bamboos who sung one of my all-time favorite underrated songs. -->The Bamboos - I Never feat. Daniel Merriweather - YouTube The colors are muted because of the slightly, darker scenery.

The tree on the hill is crooked.
