Entry for ‘s horse contest. [link]“Though strongly built, with good muscle tone he was of average size unlike some of the stronger bulkier members of the herd. His silver grey dapples that gave the appearance of stormclouds were more often than not to pale to be seen unless he was wet or one knew to look for them. This left him most often a white appearing body with black points along with black main, tail and hooves. What little color he did carry regularly came from the enforcers marks on his hips and the face of Primus on his shoulders. He was not the only white or partial white in the herd, but all the others sported much flashier secondary colors. Though an experienced and finely skilled warrior he had overheard it said that he was as careful with creating his battle plans as his colors were simple.”
I have penciled a companion piece to this one with Jazz but I’m not sure how soon it will get completed.
The idea for the location of the “rank” stripes on the front leg comes from a design suggested by for a commission she is doing for me. I had them in a totally different location until she suggested them where they are now.

Drawing animals seems like a wizardry to me. It's hard to catch their forms even knowing the anatomy. But you have caught it in few simple lines!

First, I'm not that great an artist, and when it comes to people what little talent I do have really up and takes a hike.... so I'm hoping we're talking horses here. And if were talking robots the whole hair thing confuses me.
Second for clarification - your fan character is a horse correct? And are we talking black body with red hair, or black and red like a paint?
I am not committing to drawing anything at this time, but I am willing to keep in mind.

Is the mane and tail a mix of red and black, just red, or just black?

Mmm. Prowl is indeed my favorite. You're right, he had little enough screen time in the original eps but fared better in comics, both original and more modern, particularly War Within. I have issues with his portrayal in the current ongoing series, but then again I have issues with the current on-going series period. It was pretty cool up until the Autobots bested the Decepticons, then...well...
