That was an incredibly tragic anime, and it made me cry to see all the wolves die, like kiba drowning in to frozen sea at the end.

I'm not sure about the end, I know that Tsume, Hige, and Toboe became human, because all of them were doing no possibble wolfy things.(tsume riding a motocycle) but I don't know about Kiba.
The article I read said that they all died and then the world had started over.

I have to say this is fucking beautiful! The detail in the fur is just amazing, the coloring is just amazing, blended together; it really makes it look so realistic. I love the way the sky blends with the other colors, the colors refelceted of of Kiba's fur. You did such an awesome job on the snow effect, it doesn't distract the veiwer from the main image, the wolf.
I have to say that I love the way you blended the darker blues in to show the bone structure in the face of the wolf, it gives it a natural look. Wonderful job!

I was just browsing through your sumtious gallery and this peice happened to catch my eye. Painting in whites is extremely hard but you've got it perfected here. The shadows and highlights are simply amazing. My only complaint is that the nose looks a little flat-ish after all the dimention in the fur. Simply a superb peice.
