Happy Reunion

Two days before Nicholas came back, the otter captain returned to be with his love Leilani permanently. The two ran into the other’s arms, kissing, happy to be back with the one they truly loved. But she wasn’t finished and dragged his rudder butt back to her hut where they made love with a heated passion. At the end of it, she snuggled into his muscled chest. “Now I know what I have to look forward to with you,” he whispered as she ran her fingers down his muscled pecs.

“I love you…” she whispered.

“As I love you…” They kissed again.

It was during the next day that they would emerge from her hut and holding paws. They found Kalea to let her know that Nicholas indeed was coming back the next day as the male otter knew this information. But this day would have another surprise. For Remy was back to but hadn’t told anyone. The coyote wanted it to be a surprise. Especially for Malana. That sea otter herself had been in a deep funk and depression. It was only now she realized why. She to had found love and fallen for the coyote. It explained why she had shed a tear when they said goodbye and why it had hurt. The female wished she had been kinder to him from before. Maybe they could’ve done something before he left. But now, unknown to her, there would be a chance as he would live here permanently from now on which she would find out. The guy had found a place to live nearby the tribe. “I hope she’s surprised,” he said.

That would turn out to be wrong. Malana who was feeling down did hear he was back and in shock ran to where he was waiting for her. The sea otter slowly walked over to him, tears in her eyes. “I’m back beautiful,” Remy said with a grin.

The sea otter lashed out, slapping him hard across the face. “OUCH!” the coyote yelped. “Malana-“

“YOU ASS!” she yelled at him, tears of hurt streaming down her cheeks.

“Wha…?”

“YOU COME BACK LIKE NOTHING?! I WAS HURT WITH YOU LEAVING!”

“Malana… I’m sorry I thought-“

“YOU WRONG!”

Remy was shocked, this wasn’t how he had envisioned this would go. “You’re right, I should have told you and I realize that,” he then said, causing Malana to falter who huffed in anger, crossing her arms, and turned her back to him. “Malana… beautiful listen, I didn’t say I was coming back here to surprise you. I thought you’d like it.” She didn’t answer him. Remy wasn’t finished yet. “But I won’t leave again. I live here now forever…”

“I don’t care…” she grumbled. But Malana did. “You hurt me with leaving me…”

The coyote realized there was only one thing he could do. He hoped this would do it, and something he’d wanted since first seeing her. “Malana…” Remy whispered and turned her around, his lips finding hers. The sea otter’s eyes went wide with shock and raised her paws up to push the coyote away even if she was already giving into him. The male just held the female tighter, deepening the kiss. Then something in Malana’s brain disconnected. Her arms slowly went around his neck and the eyes closed. Her tongue met his in the most loving kiss that the female had ever gotten.

The two pulled back and Malana actually let out a happy sigh and laid her head on Remy’s chest. “I love you…” she whispered.

“I know,” he replied. “And I love you; I always have.”

“That why you say I’m beautiful?”

“Because you are. I love you… You know I never meant to hurt you no?”

“You did… you hurt me… but I forgive you…” The two pulled back to look the others in the eyes. Malana smiled. “If you promise to never do that again…”

“Never beautiful…” The two kissed but Malana wasn’t finished. She dragged his butt to one of her favorite pools. The otter tackled the coyote, their clothes coming off. Remy realized that she wouldn’t be truly healed from his leaving and while shocked, knew he wanted this as well. The two made love with a heated passion. At the end, Malana sighed happily with her naked body on his.

“I promise I’ll never leave you,” Remy said softly, kissing her forehead. “Stay with me and date me beautiful…” She knew the concept and agreed, the two becoming a couple in love.

That only left Kalea who after hearing that Nicholas was right behind had her faith restored. She was happy her friends had their loved ones but now wanted the fosky she loved by her side now. The day of found the sea otter at the same beach where they had said goodbye. There was still tiny bit of doubt as she sat on the sand, the wind pulling playfully on her hair. The sun was soon high up in the sky and she still hadn’t seen any sign. And then Kalea saw it, a boat approaching. It was a small personal one. The sea otter got up, hardly wanting to believe it. But it was coming in fast, one that a few species could sit in. And there was Nicholas driving it. The guy killed the engine after getting close enough and threw out the anchor. The guy looked and saw the sea otter who gasped. “KALEA!” the fosky called to her like a lover.

“NICHOLAS!” she cried back. The male had his necklace and glasses off and in that special container. The guy dived off the boat and began to swim to her. The sea otter was slowly walking but quickly broke into a run. The male surfaced and stood up when he could, putting his necklace and glasses back on before running to her. Kalea and Nicholas met at the edge of the water and beach in a run and into the other’s arms, the fosky spinning the sea otter around who was crying with tears of happiness.

“I finally made it back…” he whispered, setting the female on her feet.

“It really you…” she sobbed. “I miss you so much…”

“I’ve missed you to,” Nicholas whispered. “It’s okay…”

Kalea sniffed and pulled back, her tears stopping and with one paw whipped her eyes. “So… how long this time?”

“Forever,” Nicholas answered. “As soon as I got back, I made plans to live here from now on.”

“You… really? Why?”

“Because of you… I couldn’t bear it to never see your face, your eyes, and hear your voice ever again… I could never live without you…” The male then moved in, kissing the sea otter with love and passion. She flinched with surprise for one second before melting in a kiss back to him. Kalea’s arms around Nicholas’s neck, and his moved to her waist, the two brining the other in closer as though to never let go. This was something both had dreamed of doing, their tongues dancing as they held the other close. Her paws began to move through his hair while his stroked her waist and back as this loving kiss continued.

Finally though they pulled back, out of breath. Their foreheads came together arms still around the other. Kalea churred with happiness. Nicholas in the meantime just went with saying how he felt about her. “Kalea… I love you… I always have since I first saw you…” he said softly.

The female closed her eyes, a tear leaking out. Finally hearing those words from the fosky. And now it was her turn as well. But the otter wanted to say it properly in English. So it took a few moments to work out how to. “I… I love you to…”

That was music to Nicholas’s ears and he placed his right paw under her chin. “Say it again…”

“I love you to…”

“Once more…”

“I love you to…’ the sea otter said, their eyes meeting. The male and her kissed again.

“Do you know how long I’ve wanted to hear you say that in a full sentience?” he stated. “That was perfect my beautiful Kalea…”

The two hugged with that. “So… now what?” the otter asked.

Nicholas smiled and pulled back to look at her. “Kalea my love, I don’t want anyone else. What I’m about to ask you may not be as familiar to you with this term. But I’m asking you will you stay by my side and in love as my girl?”

The sea otter smiled. “Do you mean what Lani says, asking out?”

“You know the term?”

“Yes. And I will…” The new couple kissed, happy to be together and knowing that they would never be apart again. Now Kalea was truly happy like Nicholas and they had a new future together. One of being with the other and in love. Things could only get better.
