wow good stuff. I realy like the shading on the cowgirl in white. Lots of cool muscle definition there! How do you do that!

Thanks, Djeroon. It's all colored in PS of course, but I draw out the figure in pencil the way I want her to look. I like the fitness model body type, so I look at them for reference. Then I ink the drawing and scan it in

I should use more reference too. Still I kinda suck at lending colours or shading in. And you do that very well.

Thanks, one trick is to just sample the colors from the skin tones you like from a photo. Much as I like the color saturation in comics, I tend to grey mine down, especially skin tones. It might be perceived as more natural, plus you can add reds and yellows for highlights instead of white, or the burn tool.

Terrific news, sir--I think you'll enjoy it! I hope to have book 2 done by summer.
In the meantime I am doing some research on polymer clay with the idea of making a figurine of April.

Like I'm doing with your PG? That's great! I thought of that too, since DC declined the licence I asked for. I first want to get to know the character April a little better before I will do her.. I mean, sculpt her.

Of course it's okay. DC declined your request, eh? I'm surprised they answered it, but I thought it would be tough to get a license from them, from what I've heard. Lawyers are just wonderful, aren't they?

There! Extra fine achievement that needs just... I don't know, a wee of loosening-up in the 'naturalistic drawing' department. IT'S WELL DONE, just in the future make more smooth distinction between cartoony and naturalistic, avoid abrupt almost stilted look. Thumbs up!!!
