"Hey, Wisp, think we'll win the costume Contest?" Henry asked, floating in his sister's telekinetic field, the raygun held in the tiny arm of his hand puppet costume.
"Of courthe we will," Wisp lisped confidently. "Mama made the betht cothtumeth in Wit'th End."
"But is anyone going to get it?" persisted her little brother. "Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a human film, and we only know about it because my mom is an anthropologist."
"Then they will get a tathte of it tonight," she responded adamantly. "Jutht keep acting ath my raygun, and I'll thneak you a few pietheth of my candy."
Henry grinned at that. He was too young for solid food, and Autnie Baerbaer would not be happy if she knew. Making it all the more delicious. He chuckled and clutched the raygun tighter in his intangible grasp. Up ahead they heard the beat of drums and saw the lights of games and prize booths. It was gonna be the best night of the year.
