Well, I was gonna call this one Mustard, because all the mustard I buy is this color; but according to official color names, "Mustard" refers to a really bright yellow. So, for lack of a better name, say hello to DARK YELLOW, my latest monochrome portrait. As I was working on this one, I kept thinking what an unusual color it was for hair. It took longer than I'd like to admit to remember that hair could actually be this color; I was so off in my own little art world. I was thinking of it as a "dark off-yellow mustard color" for hours before realizing, oh wait, that's just blonde.
Did you know that the pineapple fruit begins as berries, and they coalesce together as it matures? Personally, I can't stand the taste of pineapple fruit; however, I love stuff that's piña colada flavored. Go figure.
