Kevin Aasheim and Mothra Aasheim, husband and wife, and past competitors in the Universal Pokemon League, now retired from battling and living more peaceful, albeit not shenanigan-less, family life, with their son; Milo, a shiny Caterpie boy.

Using his years of expertise on the battle field, and his thirst for knowledge on the topic, Kevin became a specialist instructor when it comes to combating Bug-Types, and being a combat Bug-Type. A special type of coach, if you may. Even being knowledgeable in the field of move mastery (to an extent), to help students, namely Bug-Types, learn and master unconventional moves. His own son knows Electroweb at a very young age, as an example. He can't help but get attached to his students either, and that passion sometimes gets him into trouble. Nothing serious, though.

Mothra became a stay-at-home mother after Milo was born, and stuck to that lifestyle for a while, before finding her calling, working at the local pawn shop, where all kinds of objects from all over the world are brought in. Her Compoundeyes letting her spot details on objects that might be fakes, much easier than others. In recent days, seeing Milo growing up, and how the neighbors are with their kids, she has started feeling certain urges towards an "extended family" ... All in due time~
