General Description:A race of ponies that are born with high amounts of chemical compounds residing within them, manifesting themselves throughout the ponies' bodies and possessing the ability to control it. They live near the rocky outskirts of Equestria and have formed a society based around mining. They mainly export rare jewels and important mineral throughout Equestria and are generally collected in self-sufficient groups. They have a strong sense of tradition and tend to shun outsiders. As the age of innovation dawns upon them, younger generations tend to gravitate towards a less rural lifestyle.

Appearance:

Average Height
At least one foot above the average pony in adulthood.

Liquid Compounds

-Only consists of unicorns.

-Has ice around their eyes and around the base of their tails (frozen state of their compound).

-Horn is made completely out of the frozen state of their compound.

-Tail is completely liquid based and will rarely freeze.

-Females usually tall and lanky in appearance, males don't always fit this mold.

Gaseous Compounds

-Only consists of Pegasi and Alicorns (extremely rarely) only.

-Gaseous state of compound surround the back hooves and rarely the front hooves.

-Tail connect to body by a ring made of a precious metal or jewel.

-Tail is completely gas based, will never change from this state.

Metal Compounds

-Can consist of either unicorns or earth ponies.

-Rarely bicorns can show up among this population.

-The most common, no matter what.

-Always have fetlocks, hooves made of their compound, and whip-like tails with bits of their compound at the end.

-Possesses bits of their compound throughout their bodies, especially around the eyes and the backs.

Radioactive Compounds

-Similar in physical aspects to the Metal Compounds class.

-Is highly susceptible to physical deformities, especially in the limbs often leading to missing limbs.

-Tend to have more abnormal growths on their bodies.

-Elements 108 through 118 die at birth, no exceptions.

Throughout All

-Ponies with pure versions of any element are held in high regard and are given special treatment by the community.

Social hierarchy is very important within the society. If one were to step from their "designated" place, they are often scorned and shunned from the community at large. The chances for social mobility are slim.

Middle Class (generally well off)

-Pure Metal Unicorns/Earth Ponies

-Liquid Compounds Unicorns

-Metal Compounds Bicorns

-Metal Compounds Unicorns/Earth Ponies

Lower Class (very little access to health care and generally disregarded by the community)

-Pure Radioactive Elements Unicorns/Bicorns/Earth Ponies

-Radioactive Compounds Unicorns/Bicorns/Earth Ponies

-Shunned and scorned individuals
