Here are the corrupted gems of Orchid's Court before they, well, got corrupted lmao

Anyways yeah

So here we have:

-Flamingo Opal, He/Him (Weapon: Clawntlets [Gauntlets with Claws])

He was a high noble/aristocratic gem who was a snobby prick at first

And he wasn't just some fancy gem who did nothing, he actually fought for Orchid and even helped with stuff tech-wise, if he were in any other court he'd just be a representive living a boring existence, but Orchid gave him a much more bigger role than he ever dreamed he could have, even as a noble. But it's because of this he became full of himself and saw himself as above other gems. Especially small and overlooked ones. See, he was prejudiced all the same. Until he met a certain gem that was undercooked, that was small and weak who everyone looked down upon

Said gem defied all the stereotypes and assumptions he faced, and Rose among the ranks of Orchid's court. His name was Grape Opal. Flamingo was intrigued by Grape, tho they didn't they along of course. But soon after working so close together for so long, they grew a mutual respect for each other. Grape humbilized him, taught Flamingo that all gems were made equal. And Flamingo taught Grape that not all noble or aristocratic gems were prejudiced snobs who were unwilling to change their ways. Together, they invented themselves as new people, as new gems, and they soon, they fell in love. Orchid supported them and their relationship from the start, for she felt every grand emotion they experienced together, every change they went through and how they grew into each other. They grew so close, that they even considered to fuse together, and be a permafusion, despite what everyone thought of them. And they would've been, if a tragic incident hadn't occurred. Grape Opal perished trying to save some gems who were trapped under rubble, the gems were saved, but not Grape. Flamingo was devastated when he found out. He grew more and more depressed and developed an anguish so powerful Orchid could hardly control those emotions, and Flamingo became corrupted. Orchid couldn't bear to poof him and trap him somewhere after all he and Grape Opal did, so she kept him around as a corrupted gem, but not without entering his mind, something she forbade herself from doing, and erased from his mind the reason for his despair, and suddenly the sorrow stopped. But now Flamingo is corrupted with no sense of who he used to be.

-Cherry Opal, She/Her (Weapon: Cherry Bombs)

Cherry Opal is a gem who was chaotic and mischievous, a gem to be reckoned with. Her story is shrouded in mystery for now, (because SPOILERS).

-Drusy Quartz, They/Them (Weapon: Hammer)

Drusy is a gem who was bored being one of Orchid's guards, but they never aspired to be anything or anyone else, unlike Flamingo. They didn't know what they wanted to do or be, even though Orchid would have left them to be whoever they wanted to be. They were complacent in their life and their lack of motivation or rather, passion, was in the end, what cost them their sanity. The pointlessness of their existence caused them to lose all hope that better days would come, and they just... Gave up. They gave in to these feelings of regret and bitterness until it consumed her being and form, and Drusy was no more. They didn't want to exist anymore. And they got their wish.

Which of these losers is your fave? Mine are Cherry and Flamingo because I lOVE THEM SO MUCH AND I REGRET MAKING THEM CORRUPTED SO MUCH and Drusy's there too I guess
