Description
Since the first time I first saw Sardonyx, (spoilers: Sardonyx is the fusion of Pearl and Garnet if you don't know), I thought that her two core parts, the fusions of Pearl and Ruby, and the fusion of Pearl and Sapphire, would be Sard and Onyx, since those are separate gemstones in real life. So when all three fuse, the two core parts of Sard and Onyx combine to make Sardonyx, (duh). So here's my fan designs of the two fusion that make her up, (besides Garnet of course lmao).
Sard I think would be the panicky insecure one, maybe even bipolar because Pearl is super calm most of the time, but when she snaps her emotions become really intense, meanwhile Ruby is easily angered but eventually mellows out and shows her softer side.

For Onyx I think she'd have a bloated ego, but genuinely cares greatly for Steven and is SUPER protective of him, I also think Onyx would be super fancy, hence she is essentially the 'elegant' part of Sardonyx. I bet she'd also have a bit of an attitude yet a bit anti-social. For reasons.

I haven't thought of a weapon for Onyx since it hasn't been revealed what Sapphire's weapon is, or if she even has one, but if she did my bet is that it's a pair of brass knuckles or something haha.

But for Sard I think she'd have a hammer just like Sardonyx, but like, a tinier plush-sized version haha.
