Flint TCC 2020 #31 - Dramatic shadow effectFlint being all dramatic and ominous ;>
I wanted to let the watercolor work it's magic on this card. SO I used lunar black (a super granulating paint) for Flint's fur/shadows. I really love the effects this paint gives! Ive also been recently playing with depth in backgrounds. Trying to add additional layers to make the backgrounds more interesting and hopefully less flat ;D For this painting I added another layer of cloudy-things behind the first layer. It was a fun experiment and I do think it helped the painting a ton, added a little extra detail <3
