Description
I went to an art camp at a farm in Ireland over the summer for three weeks. The camp was called Cow House Studios, and even though I did a photography class while I was there, I decided I would do something with ink for my final project. My mentor, Adam, cut some squares up for me and I got to work. This square was inspired by two of the cats at the farm, which were named Dolly and Nelson. I always thought that the cats meowed for attention because they were lonely at night. After all, they are nocturnal creatures, and humans sleep during most of the hours when cats are playing. Whenever those sweet, loving cats looked at me when I was walking back from the studio, I couldn't help but see myself in them.
