Alex spent most of his time outdoors by himself and most of his remaining time indoors by himself. Because of this, his friends and acquaintances referred to him as a lone wolf. Alex did not mind. The term actually fit him. He would rather do things alone than have to depend on someone else.

While out on a late night walk, he saw the moon glowing a bright blue. He stopped to watch. Although he had heard of a blue moon, he had never seen one before, at least not one like this. He began to howl at the moon like a wild animal.

Unknown to Alex, what he was howling at was not actually the moon but a bright blue ball of magical energy. Someone had been observing him and thought a loner like Alex would be ideal for a magical experiment. It was far too late to run. Alex was stuck with whatever might happen.

His body started growing feminine features until he looked more like a woman than a man. In only about 30 seconds, he had become fully female. No one would mistake him for an ordinary woman though due to the other changes that were taking place.

Alex had grown wolf ears and a tail. She stopped howling at the moon and looked at herself. She did not know which she found more surprising, the presence of breasts or the presence of a tail. One thing was still certain. She was still a lone wolf.

With most of her time spent by herself, she wondered if anyone else would even notice the changes that had happened to her. She howled at what she thought was the moon once more as the bright blue ball of light slowly faded away. Then she continued with her late night walk as if nothing unusual had happened.
