Description Clutching her pillow, Amenii shuffled forwards towards the glow of the living room. Nera sat there, propped up on the couch, her eyes forwards. Only when she was a few feet away did the Hyena seem to notice her.

'Amenii...' She spoke softly, surprised to see her up. 'I thought you would be asleep by now.'

'I wanted too.' Amenii began, hugging her favorite pillow to her chest, Nera had bought it for her, a birthday gift, that even smelled like fresh carrots. 'The bed was empty, and cold.'

Nera's gaze lingered over her a second, then back to the glowing light. Snapping the remote, the room vanished into darkness, leaving behind only the shadow of Nera's massive from silhouetted in her eyes.

'Come here.'

Strong hands wrapped around her body, picking Amenii off the floor with delicate ease.

'It's time for bed, for both of us.'
