HOoooleeeeee shit. Not dead or gone.Summer has uhhhh been interesting. For first time in a while not doing all the California cons so I have a job in the print lab. That's been sucking up a lot of my time / energy @n@ not to mention next week I go in for surgery and will be MIA for another week.
@___@ But!! Other good news- working in print lab I have been able to do larger editions during my work times and will probably end up selling some of this traditional prints online if anyone is interested. I'll put up a journal when they're ready. (this one is an intaglio, i also have a few lithographs )
anyway- Intaglio print. 13 x13 on copper. printed in a deep purple black <3

your aquatints are all blotchy, something is either wrong with your printing or your paper.

This is really awesome and creepy. Love the gray scale. Her body is so limp and dead looking and it's really creepy/cool how it's propped up with an arrow/spear. POOR MERMAID. She is fishfood now.

Nice, and now I know what all this is cause I took a printmaking class and now have a much deeper appreciation of the processes that go into it (so much so I am thinking of focusing on printmaking for my major).
