For contest entry :3I colored her skin a lot softer than I usually do, I hope it looks okay! Its also my first time coloring an afro. Gah i love afros on black women *_* so pretty.
Please do not use without my permission. I do have an offical copyright for this image from the U.S. Copyright Office.
I apologize, but due to countless people stealing this without permission I had to downsize and add a watermark.

Thank you for telling me. I have an official copyright for this image, but itβs China and idk what to do about it. Itβs in so many places :c amazon banned my account from leaving reviews because I would try and warn people itβs stolen art ( Iβm sure every design they offer is stolen).

I know using stolen art is rampant in China's sellers, so I'm not sure how you would go about getting your work removed.. I'd personally contact amazon support and see if they are able to help instead of commending on the sellers page. If not, then I'm not quite sure, but I figured I would let you know regardless! T^TΒ

Will you be selling this as a shower curtain on CafePress? I know folks have been stealing the artwork and selling it as a shower curtain on Amazon and FB; and that's unfortunate. I would love to buy a shower curtain from you instead, but I don't see that as an option. Please advise. Thanks!

I absolutely adore this girl. I have a small store on Etsy.com and am constantly looking for Β Black American/African themed images to make into throws and pillows that I believe promote healthy self-images of "we are beautiful, too". Β I saw this Β as a shower curtain on Amazon and purchased three of them Β to make into throws and sell...before I found you had been ripped off. I still want young girls to have this image in there bedrooms but I would like to find a way to compensate you for using her image. I get a lot of images from Spoonflower.com which is a site that allows artists to upload their work to publish on gift-wrap, wallpaper and fabric. I would love to make pillows with this image while you get paid for your artistry.Β
My daughter is also an artist so I understand your anger with people just taking your work. Before I put up this image as a throw for a bed on my shop (WarriorQueenDesigns) I want you permission to do so. If you don't want to I understand and will respect your decision and will not put it up. If you grant me permission, I will do what I try to do with all the prints form artists I purchase from on Spoonflower.Com Β by letting the viewer know where I got the print and directing them to the shop of that artist.

I do commissions/custom drawings, but it is only intended to remain digital. My customer demographic doesn't typically care for actual physical items of the art, although they are free to do whatever they want with what they purchase. Usually, my drawings are around 1500px x 2000px, so that may be large enough to convert to real items.
I am aware of the shower curtain issue, I'm not sure what I can really do about it outside of reporting the objects :/ I do own an official copyright of this image, though.
