I'm punching in a shift of FanGirlism.

So I've been a bit of a fan of the Castlevania series - however, I'm certain I'm not at all as learned as the hardcore bunch. But anyway.. I've just always been very fond of Alucard. (Really, any facet of an Alucard - fiction, game, or otherwise.) The design for Alucard in Dawn of Sorrow is one I find precious so I figured I would give a go at trying to imitate his cute bishounen... ness.

His design in all the images in art books make him look rather beefy and I find that oddly unusual for a vampire and I'm rather partial to the idea of him being more on a leaner scale. SO I MADE HIM! HAH! AND YOU CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT IT! NOOOOTHING!

I also wanted to try and get a little detailed with his fixin's, but - Oh. My. God. I have not the patience for such a thing! (Or the attention span, really.) Besides, I find it personally difficult to get to the nitty-gritty with a mechanical pencil and an 8x11 sized sketchbook. So - I fail at that until I become acquainted with the higher powers that are electronic technologies! Hooray!

Kinda makes me wish I knew how to color too. Aaaaw.. Sadface.

Umm... Yes, I looked up some references, but I had no idea what kind of sword he used so I made it up... Don't yell at me!! Dx
