Description The image started life as a 35mm b/w negative.
This was enlarged on to a 4x5 sheet of lith film to create a positve image.
The 4x5 positive was then enlarged on a 8x10 sheet of lith film to make a new and larger negative.
The enlarged negative was contact printed on watercolor paper coated with the 19th century Van Dyke emulsion.

Just as lovely as the cyanotype, I'm having trouble deciding which I like better. Awesome job.

Thank you. Nice to hear that from one who has worked with these techniques herself. Yes, I know that your present circumstances don't allow you to play with these old techniques now but I do hope you'll be able to do some more work with them someday. Your cyanotype was so lovely.

Thank you.

One advantage of a poorly heated studio... the models curl up in tight poses to try and keep warm.
