Description
The image started life as a 35mm b/w negative.This was enlarged on to a 4x5 sheet of lith film to create a positve image.
The 4x5 positive was then enlarged on a 8x10 sheet of lith film to make a new and larger negative.
The enlarged negative was contact printed on watercolor paper coated with the 19th century Van Dyke emulsion.

One advantage of a poorly heated studio... the models curl up in tight poses to try and keep warm.
