Yep, most of our trees on the property are Mountain Hemlock (Tsunga mertensiana).

I absolutely adore hemlocks! Whenever I am out in the wilderness, on one of my trips, I always look for the hemlock patch to string up my hammock. I sleep best when I am under the hemlocks! Yes, sounds nutty, but it is true!

Not it is not nutty at all, everything in nature has a feel to it, a vibration that it gives off. People senses these vibrations unknowingly. That is why some people like dogs, but hate cats. The trick is getting people to slow down enough to experience what is comfortable and pleasing.

Yes! I completely agree! When I'm out on my canoe trips and I'm picking which place is a good place to set up camp, I just stop and start to feel the place. I just wait and soon it tells me exactly what energy it holds and if it is safe. It's easy if you just let nature show you. But hemlocks are really quite magic. They just welcome you in and hug you if you let them.

Ever been sitting there and know your being watched, and you turn and look right at a deer, or other animal that is sitting there looking at you?
