Description I just like how this came out, kind of eerie. I don't use any editing or effects in my photos, so it's fun to be able to capture that feeling just based on the actual lighting and mood when I'm taking a picture.

The crow was a visitor passing through the grounds at the Lake Superior Zoo.

I love how he's almost entirely a sillhouette except for his sharp claws and beak. And his pose is so regal!

I like it. I like crows in general and the lighting suits it. What camera do you use? I find that mine isn't too awesome when it comes to photographying nature. Always blurry

Thanks. I use a Canon PowerShot S5 IS. I'm sure there are much fancier and more expensive cameras you can buy, but this one works great for me. Hope you can find something better for your photos.

Thanks for the info. I might need to ask for one for my birthday lol. How're things going with you anyways? Didya make it back to Minnesota? You need to upload more arts! Aaand. I think I'mma sketch you when I'm free of the horrors of finals. I need to work on anatomy and such and you have such an awesome mixture of animals <3 Does it still look like the sketch you have in your gallery or is there a better reference picture?

I'm doing pretty well. I made it back to Minnesota. I really like it here. I'd like to upload more art but it takes me forever to finish anything and I'm usually busy working. I have a few things in the works though.

The sketch of Shimmer posing is a good ref, though a little outdated. This one is pretty good but it doesn't show the body: [link] I really need to do a reference sheet! If you decide to sketch me, thanks in advance. ^^

And so many refs! I've started sketching right now

Also, I've been pretty good. I graduate college in the spring, so I've been busy with schoolwork also. Thankfully Final Exams are this week, then it's Summer Break, something I desperately need. I'm majoring in English but so many essays and whatnot are due that I never have time to write anything for pleasure. Makes me thankful I didn't major in art or else I'd probably consider it as work, even if I DID get better from the classes!
