I have spent almost two decades trying to build the best possible compromise of this ship. The wheres and whys would be a LONG long post, so, for here, I'll just say that after trying pretty much every solution possible, the one that caused fewer conflicts was to increase the listed overall size. Oddly, or perhaps naturally, the amount required fits perfectly with the studio's tendencies to make vehicle props at 75% scale. LucasFilm have always said the Falcon's set size was 100%, I think they're wrong.
