Gerd von Rundstedt (1875-1953)
Gerd von Rundstedt was a field marshal during the Second World War, and was involved with most of the major campaigns to start the war, including the Invasions of Poland and France. He commanded Army Group South during Operation Barbarossa, and executed the encirclement of Kiev. In 1942, he was appointed to Commander-in-Chief of Western Operations up until after the Allied Landings in Normandy on June 6th, 1944. His replacement came after his famous response "End the war, you idiots!" After the war, he was tried for war crimes, of which he was guilty, but was released due to his deteriorating health.

I'd like to mention Grand-King-Lobster (grand-lobster-king.deviantart.… ), from whom the colors of the uniform proper come from.
