Description
This is a scene commissioned by a successful and emerging talent who asked me to depict a battle from one of the novels they have created.I knew the remit and was left to "go nuts".

I enjoyed doing this, especially the cannonfire which came out a lot better than expected!!

I've told you many times but I'm going to say it again. WOW! You brought the battle to life better than I imagined. Nemesis looks flipping amazing. I especially like the style of her name and the griffin symbol on the side. I wish you'd stop making the drawings so damn good - I'm going to have to commission you to draw more for me!

I love the battle scene, I find that more stuff in a scene doesn't always make a better looking battle. This is a wonderful example of direction and subtle details. Yeah there are lots of explosions but enough negative space so it doesn't feel so cramped. I also really like the white ship in the background, instantly fell in love with it.

That is what I try to aim for - a scene without clutter - its not easy and one can get carried away but I restrained myself and it came off alright.
As for the ship in the background? I am so glad you love her sir - that has made my day
