Description
The model of 1904 or M1904 was the result of a five year study done by the Imperial Armament Corporation in the late 1890's. The goal of the project was to create a superior replacement of the obsolete M1892.
The result was a a bolt action rifle that for the first time could use a detachable box magazine. It fired ten rounds of 7.92x57mm and was considered at the time to be the best rifle ever used by the imperial military.
