Archeops gijinka! This time it's my own design. After being reminded of this tutorial ([link] ) I feel like it's appropriate to use them for Archeops.

For starters, I'll have a helmet on my head that will cover the top half of my face. I kind of want to get some realistic resin raptor eyes for this (with a follow effect!) but I don't know how creepy that'd be. xD But it will for sure have feathers coming out from behind, kind of like a headdress. I also think it's high time I use that green Flygon wig again, so this works out perfect.

Wings will obviously follow the realistic wing tutorial. They'll be made of felt. Depending on what kind of yellow felts I can find, it will determine the fuzzy fur stuff on the rest of the body. I'd also like to try and make some three-fingered gloves with claws to really get the raptor look.

Overall, the costume will probably use a zentai suit as a base. I've already found a "deep red" colored one I would like to use. Debating on painting or using craft foam to get the armor plates on the stomach. Yellow fur will go around my chest, and on my legs down to my knees. From there, it will apply essentially the same technique as the arm wings (minus the mobility) and just layer the feathers on the legs over the zentai fabric.

The tail will be a challenge to figure out; not really so much how to make it, but how to fit it on. Since the arm wings cover my arms, I may just use that fabric for the tail, so that everything is consistent. I will need a belt of sorts to keep the tail base up around my torso area, but again there is the problem of attachment. I may cut a hole out above the yellow fur and sew it on there. That seems to be the logical root.

Idk what to do with the shoes. Please suggest something else, sandals seem too plain. D;
