This pic is for a friend of mine, so I'd appreciate no iconing or banner making or whatever it is you crazy cats do these days.Though comments & favouriting is awesome *thumbs up*
I know there are several issues with this, like the bricks, and the steps are out of proportion and stuff ... but GAH. I tried.

This is extremely original. I love the detail in the background. Lily's outfit is very eclectic and pretty, which is a nice contrast to James's casual attire. The colors in this just pop.

This is really lovely. For the first time ever i really felt the fact that Lily and James would have been about 20 (right?) when Lily was pregnant with Harry.
You really get that youthful feeling in this.

I did a bit of research on the matter
She was born in January, 1960
Started school in 1971-so age 11
Graduated 1978-age
James married her a short time after-So i'd say June-ish maybe. She'd still be 17.
But that's the 'adult' age in the Wizarding world.
Then she became pregnant in 1979. Autumn-ish. So she was 18 there, an adult.
Then she would have been 19 when she had Harry, in July.
Then she died in 1981. So she was 21 and Harry was 2.
So everyone Ive told complains that she was too young to get married and have a baby. No. She was an adult. In her world, at least

Lovely! I like the outfits you have them in. They look rather hippy/wizardy. Nice picture and very sweet! They don't have to be hanging all over each other to be coupley. I like how you just draw them walking together with their bags of stuff-- groceries I assume. It feels very domestic and loving. <3

Damn your goddamn 'Happy Lily and James'- drawings. I think it's heartbreaking to see them happy together and to know that it's not to last but scarcely two years any longer.
Now honestly, I have thought about the whole Lily-and-James -stuff a little too long and gravely and discovered how very unfair and horrible and sad it all was. *Sighs* I mean- that's obvious, but while reading the books I never wasted too much thought on their fate at first.
But the picture is awesome as always- The colours and clothing and the looksfaces-- and I adore the smoke coming from those chimneys in the background.
