Two fandoms in one! I love it!

I have a tendency to combine fandoms like this when I commission original art. I've had Yoda reenact SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and 300, Skeletor, Lex Luthor, and Ming the Merciless do Monty Python, Bugs as Superman (with Mickey Mouse as Batman), the Pilsbury Doughboy as Green Lantern, Superman hanging with the likes of He-Man and Flash Gordon...it's just a running gag I like to do. And virtually every time, the artist in question has a blast drawing it because it's so out of the norm.
And as I said in the original comments, considering how lame the recent Broadway version of GREASE has been in terms of its casting (to say nothing of its seriously screwed-up costume designs), I'd rather see Bugs and Lola playing Danny and Sandy than just about anyone else these days.

Well, that is a wonderful idea! I like mixing too because of my many varied interests.
I wasn't really into GREASE until this year, and I like the second movie, and have never seen Broadway anything. Though I'dlove to see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway if nothing else.

I agree. Mr. Poehlman did a first-class job on this. He actually preferred this to the Bugs-Superman/Mickey Mouse-Batman sketch he did for me later at the con. He thought Bugs turned out better on this piece.
For Lola, he drew on not just the Olivia Newton-John reference I provided, but also something he remembered from TINY TOONS: Babs Bunny wearing a red version of the Sandy costume in the episode on dating ("Remember, girls, never underestimate the power of spandex"). So he had a frame of reference to apply when drawing Lola as Sandy.

Go right ahead. It'd look great in full color. The credit should go to the artist, Anthony Poehlman, though. I can't take credit for his work. All I did was commission it.

Oh, I see! ^^ Well, that would be fun, I'll try to get around to that sometime! Thanks!
