Oh man this thing bugged the crap outta me! Like, either those ice cutters are complete ass holes, or else Kristoff's running off to live with trolls traumatized the HELL out of a bunch of big, burly men who've lived with the horrifying belief that their young apprentice froze to death in a lake and none of them realized it until hours later.

They never really seemed to notice him as a kid, though. And, when he's older, it doesn't seem like he works with anyone else, unlike the other ice harvesters.

Yep, exactly. Throughout the entire 'Frozen Heart' sequence I was thinking, 'someone help the little guy out!' Clearly, they were far too focused on singing and ice-harvesting.
