OMG!!! I am LOVVVVING u so much for drawing these. U don't know how much I dreamed of something just like this happening, i even drew a half descent sketch of Alek carrying Deryn. AHH I am so watching u if I already havn't. lol.
Awesome brilliant drawings, and story line. Hope something like this happens in the book, but I don't think it will, since everyone is hoping or expecting something like this.

Anyways, your Dr. Barlow is amazing. I love how you draw her, and I just love her reactions in this-and, as others have said, all covered in Deryn's blood. xP
And poor Alek-I love his expression as he's dragged off. "Wh-what? No, we...is she even conscious?!"
Also, your drawing of the crew is great- you really give a unique appearance to each man. ^^

I like how you're not automatically making Alek like, suddenly fall in love with Deryn. The way Alek responds in the second to last panel is closer to how he's portrayed in the book: kinda sexist. (but I'm sure he'll change his mind soon enough

LONG AWAITED MOMENT. I demand more. I think you have the BEST Alek EVER.
To me, the best part of this page is that crew on panel 3. Drawn amazingly! Those three guys are all like"Man tha'bitch be down, we ain't buyin' none o'this shi'" XD Seriously though, they look very distinct and especially with their gear and uniform. Awesome job.
Also, I love how they're having a seemingly casual conversation and Barlow's all covered in Deryn-guts XD
