Description
Hatred. A demon with an ever growing ability (hence the tall size), and a violent nature...this sin in also the only demon I've painted that is not winning the battle as much as the others do. Why? Because his is a balancing act that relies on an outside force to keep him bound to the act of hatred. It doesnβt come naturally alone. He must be consistently fed pain to be powerful....if that makes sense

Hi! Yeah I don't mind crystal or comick or comickpro...whatever you prefer to call me haha. As for the piece, I feel this is such an old painting...and I didn't really portray Hatred all that well :b Looking at the creature again I feel that if I had incorporated more characters and a better scene in which his actions and size could really represent the hatred he embodies on all things (in a societal setting) it would have been better read. In this particular scene (as it was in the early paintings) the Sins engage only with Sin for domination of power and relevance in the world and how that connects to us as a means of regarding it as a taboo or not. But now I feel like he was made too plain for such a strong word and maybe later I will re-investigate this character better and do a newer painting that better reflects what he really is and show how strongly he has grown in our contemporary world hahah.

I consider this one really well done! And Sin actually being even with Hatred in this fight makes sense as well about ow hate works too! Well done!

Actually that is the demon of hatred. It is in the title. Though I do agree with the fact thatΒ he does look like "Costco" wrath.

o.0 Speaking of appearance,he looks a bit of a lizard with fur,long ears of a rabbit,long tail like a dog almost,sharp claws,not sure if he has a snake tongue. Oh yeah,I like the way you make his big round eyes xD its very eye catching isn't it? =w= Did a very good job since he pops out more to attract attention.

Hmmm.... this one is actually not hard at all to understand. I get that hatred needs to feed off of something, as if you get into an argument with someone there anger grows with the more replies. I have a question about the fact that you put your demons in a room (like greed). why? Why not among the outskirts of heck instead of a room???

Well this one is a bit old, but the first painting in the series were confined to room to represent the four walls of a mind or torture chamber but then I got tired of only rooms and the new ones span over large landscapes of horror, heh.

I've been wondering, in all of your "Series of sin" painting, you've always had that small rabbit in there, the one you named sin.
Now, having the sin materialized as a demon, does having Sin in there make that demon into a sin? Or is Sin in there just to show that the painting is part of you series?
By the way, this is a fairly interesting and accurate way of depicting hatred. I like how you showed that Sin is attacking Hatred, and feeding him pain. I also like how you showed that hatred is a rather large demon.

Rabbit? Heβs not a rabbit lol. He has a long tail even...XD but anyways...
The title "Series of Sin" is a play on words. One literal, and the other one interpreted as a Series of (sin) = demons personified as destructive social ills. So yes, the series is about Sin the character, but itβs also a series of his relationships with these other demons, and the power struggles they have in our society or in ourselves. Hope that makes sense lol.

That was a fairly detailed explanation, and fortunately for me, it does make sense. I must congratulate you on your complexity in not only your drawings, but in your words (in this case, your title in Series of Sin).
And I seriously mean no offense when I say this but, your paintings creep the living f**k out of me. This is normally VERY hard to do, which is why I must also congratulate you on this.
