Actually, a lot of your black and white creations look like a Gammel Work. The paint is definitely necessary, because the disturbing style doesn't seem to fit this kind of story, tough it does fit this particular scene.

I love the different styles of the last two pages, and I especially like this one! The Great Fairy looks awesome! And I love how Fi is still Fi, giving off percentages XD So... the story is 83% complete, eh? It looks like, though it's almost over, there's more epic win to come!

Well now this is an intresting comic indeed.......Love Malon/tetra idea and wild/Zelda I like your design for Link it combines the old into a unique design cant wait to see the Hero of traitors in action in earnest and not beat up. Love the Shiekan being german brings a nice touch....Though I thought younger Impa was a MAN for awhile because its not clear and used some vague refrences to her.
I like the fact we can see all the games up to this point involved in it some what. I saw wind waker from the goron boss and Ganon's dream obviously its heavily based in Orcarina of time with Twilight thrown in saw the Midina Kokiri.
So far very fun cant wait for more.

Yeah, this comic is a homage to the whole Zelda universe and we tried to put as many Zelda references, cameos and easter eggs as possible, even the infamous CDi games found a place in this story when Aghanim mentions that his "wand of Gameleon" had told him that the legendary heroe had died long ago.
