centipeetle's (or nephrite, i guess) little smile when she saw steven in the fountain just.... *grabs chest* and then when biggs pops out of the water and bismuth jumps on her i.... *wipes tears* augh.... i suffer....

i thought about all my old gemsonas that i haven't touched in months, most of them years, i'm considering rebooting all of them now that the show is almost over (i think. i'd hate for them to drag it on. i know there's a movie and season 6 coming next year.)
i'm not gonna use them ever, just give them all some new designs and a little drabble about what they all might be doing now that the diamond authority has finally gotten their shit together, and all the corrupted gems are fixed
the backstories for my first two gems, ruby and tourmaline, are completely defunct now that we know that the diamond corruption attack destroyed everyone
i would think it's plausible that some gems could have hidden but there aren't any earth gems left who were uncorrupted other than those who were saved by rose or inaccessible to the diamond attack (amethyst underground and lapis in the mirror in pearl's gem), so it's unlikely. I'll make them some corrupted designs, maybe.
