Please note that this faction is all but extinct. They do however serve a lore-based importance in the whole WW3K story-line. So this profile will help clarify what this faction was like.

General motto: "Humanity cannot be trusted with it's freedom. They must gain certain limitations on their freedom if they are ever going to find peace" - Athena

Lore: Prior to the war, a supercomputer was made. This computer was tasked with analyzing human behavior. This computer though ended up with analyzing for such a long period of time that it ended up gaining self-awareness. It saw all of humanity as a flock of lost sheep who needed a Shepard to keep them in check. The computer managed to predict the War for years in advance and managed to build up supplies so when the war finally happened they where well prepared. The part of their general army's strength was that everyone who was above 18 had a implant put into their head. This enabled the computer "Athena" to influence and guide them in the world and on the battle field. For a long time they seamed unmatched in strength and strategy.
Many people joined the HSA because many needed someone to blame for the misery they had been put in after the nuclear holocaust. Athena gave what seamed like a proper answer this made many sympathetic with the HSA.
Eventually when they invaded England and what was left of the Skull Empire the empire released their secret weapon. A jamming signal that blocked the communication with Athena, and even made it hard for the HSA soldiers to think by giving them major pain in their brains. Over the next 5 years they where annihilated by the Skull empire.
But even though the HSA was destroyed by the Skull empire, Athena was never located and as a result she is still considered a threat to the inhabitants of the world. And a Computer that is capable of controlling a army as large as the HSA is a great price that many want to go after.

Policy: They call themselves the Human Salvation Army because they believed that humanity needed to be saved from itself. Everyone who resisted was either subdued or killed.

Goal: Thier goal is to unite all of humanity and liberate them from the problems of free will.

Survival: Their large amount of build up supplies where obviously not gonna last forever, but they did have access to the ability to farm crops and raise edible animals.

Tactical advantages:
The HSA had one of the biggest armies of the time, when they reached their peak their army concisted of around 123.000 soldiers. A number that even the Heinrich had a hard time matching
Athena had spent years preparing for the war. And as a result the HSA had a MASSIVE supply of guns, meds, food among other things when the war began. They even had aces to factories that could produce decent gear on a larger scale.
Their biggest advantage was that all of their soldiers had a implant in their head that made it easy for Athena to guide her soldiers on the battlefield. Her strategies and large army meant that the HSA was very difficult to defeat in a fair fight.

Tactical disadvantages:
What eventually lead to the HSA's downfall was their over-dependence on Athena. Without her to guide them they suffered heavily during the war.
Another heavy disadvantage was that the Skull Empire later evolved their jamming-signal so the HSA-chips would cause the soldiers to suffer heavily during the battles, making them easy targets.

Opposition

The Heinrich Empire (owned by ): The Heinrich was originally the mortal enemies of the HSA. The two always fought for dominance in the scene of the world. It is estimated that the Heinrich lost 100.000 men against the HSA either because they where killed or deserted to the HSA. After the downfall of the HSA the Heinrich got themselves some much needed breathing space to survive against the other factions. Nowadays they are among the most pro-dominant when it comes to the global hunt for Athena.

The skull empire (owned by ): The Skull Empire and the HSA had for unknown reasons a really hard time getting along with one-another. The skull empire ended up being the victorious ones in that conflict. The result is that a large part of the weapons and technology the Empire has, was taken from the HSA's remains. Nowadays they are like the Heinrich still searching for Athena, looking to use her powers for their own cause.

The ULN (owned by ): Unlike what most people think the HSA and ULN where actually allied for a large part of the war. The reason was that many in the ULN where sympathetic with the HSA because the HSA was like the ultimate form of Totalitarian Socialism, where it is the government that controls everything in peoples lives. During operation "Heart Breaker" the ULN tried to help their allies, but they where in the middle of a major offence against the Heinrich. They did manage to save parts of the HSA by evacuating soldiers and removing their brain-chips. Nowadays many members of the ULN is awaiting the re-arrival of Athena since they are confident that she will help them once again.

The Prometheus task force (owned by ): The promethean task-force was not created until 10 years after the HSA was defeated. Some of the Prometheans in Europe was originally members of the HSA, but managed to desert and get their chips removed. This has caused problems since Athena believes that these people are traitors and must therefore be destroyed.

The USF (Owned by ): The USF did not have a major standing army in the beginning of the conflict, they where protected by the Heinrich's army. As a result the USF and HSA never had a real conflict against one-another. Athena however has attempted on many occasions to recreate the HSA within the USF by hacking their system and leaving them vulnerable to attacks unless they did what she asked them to do. Nowadays she has been unable to do this since the USF has a defense system that is considered by many as the little sister of Athena. Because it was programmed by one of the people who made Athena in the first place. This system is the only one that has been known to be able of repelling Athena. This system is called "Freja" (It is a Scandinavian name roughly translate as Freya)
