there's a lot of controversy about straight pride. to me, straight pride is just taking pride in who you are, same as lgbtqia+ pride. personally, i don't really think we need a flag or a symbol because we haven't been oppressed (i still like the symbol, don't get me wrong, i just don't think it's as needed as the other ones). pride parades are and still should be mostly about people who aren't straight, because these are the ones that have believed and still do believe that they can't be who they are because of stereotypes and stuff about lgbt pride being wrong.
what's your opinion on this?
