Description LATE ART IS LATE.

I was gonna do this regardless of the men's result. Obviously, it would be looking a lot different if US had won. xP But I was planning to do one anyway, to make up for missing the first 10 days of the Olympics. >>;;;

But YAY, CANADA. Much love for Matthew and his GB'd self. <333
(Besides, Al's got the most medals award so no need to feel down. xD)
(And no hate for Finland, m'kay? >.o It's enough that I ran out of paper. ...Again. (but then cut out half the original picture ;;; ))

I don't know why I put so much focus on the hands, especially since I just decided "Ah, bloody hell. This is already so screwed up anyways so who cares? Rawr" and just threw them before the scan. Uuuugh. They look like barf. >_<

Traced the logo, but not the little skating people. Not entirely sure why I did that.

Fates, I love the colours in this. *___*

Hee-hee, well, at least in your drawing the two American hockey players are smiling. The U.S. hockey team pouted like a bunch of little kids while receiving their silver medals. Tsk, tsk, such behavior over a mere piece of medal that, IMOH, wasn't even that well designed.

Thanks~ And I agree, but it's not like we can't understand their disappointment—this especially right after having just lost. They really should hold the medals ceremonies after some time has elapsed, when everyone has had a chance to calm down and can receive their medals gratuitously . But, yeah, time restraints...

lol, glad to know I'm not the only one who thought that. They look incredibly warped or something.

I definitely understand their disappointment; I'd be disappointed too if it were me. And I agree with you that they should have held the medal ceremony later when emotions had settled down and both the winners and second-placers can receive their prizes in a more gracious frame of mind. But it's not just time restraints. Television always goes for the Big Dramatic Moment in sports, and especially so when it comes to the Olympics. And usually at the expense of the viewers and the participants.
