Description meet my first official OC, Robert the Mainland Tank Engine
Bio: Robert was built at Derby Works in 1932 by the LMS and worked on small passengers on one of the railways branch lines. When British Railways was formed in 1945, Robert was repainted in British Railway’s black with red and white lining and the BR crest on his side tanks. He was then withdrawn in 1959 and was put in a shed until his fate was decided. He soon was brought by the Manager of the Conadina National Preservation Society and was refurbished and repainted. Now Robert works full time on passenger duties from Basilstone City Central Station to Barrow-in-Furness.
Fun Fact: Robert is my name given to one of Percy’s friends from the Railway Series story, Percy Takes a Plunge
