Nice little slice of alternate future for you. An older Kylo, with Rey's sand colour palette. Replete with blond highlights (you're welcome) and robo arm (glimpsed but not featured). Background is an old jedi temple because it'd be nice if he explored that side of his history rather than using his granddad's helmet as an ash tray...Related content

This is interesting...I'm curious, what drove the decision to have him wearing a mask in a light-sided future? Seems like that could make a fascinating story, as I love alternate universes!

Thank you. I'd love to provide a layered and significant answer. But it really just stemmed from trying to update the look, without straying from whats synonymous and identifiable. His mask looks cool, it's got that darth revan thing going on, but I bisected it to show how he's torn between light and dark.
If we consider the force awakens as his cannon backstory, then underneath the mask... he's probably scarred, from the finale. Could guilt and defeat be the catalyst for such a drastic change from dark to light. Meybee? haha Leia would guide him back. She wouldn't stand for his emo edgelord behaviour

I agree there's a bit of a Revan-ish vibe to Kylo Ren's mask, and wondered if you were trying to draw on that.
Personally I hope to see Kylo return to the light.

I'd say so. The prospective arc from light to dark is so cool. And Revan's is my favourite. So definitely touching on that. I think he will, even if only for a moment. Gotta emulate Vader.

My hope is that Kylo lives, unlike Vader. Having to live with all he's done and come back to the light knowing the years of struggle ahead is IMO an even braver act than a momentary blaze of glory like Vader, who knew he wouldn't have to live with any of it for more than a few minutes.

That would be something. I think some part of him would need the self torture of guilt, to be better. To not fully abandon the dark but use it for a greater cause. Makes sense, how cool would it be if he had to face the other knights of Ren? I hope you like however they handle him

I like all of these ideas, especially having to wrestle with guilt, and face the other Knights of Ren. It would be important for it not to be a paralyzing guilt but one that spurs constructive action. I hope that can happen, though granted he has a lot of ground to cover for that to happen.

Its insidious. Like he's hitting the wound over and over again, only this time its dwelling on Han. A hard fought redemption. Yeah I agree, it would have to be handled slowly and delicately to not be incongruous. So very true, often fans devote way more time than official content creators are willing. So yeah... If needed craft that fitting finale yourself haha
