Hiya Whispy, as far as the colors go, if you can't change the colors of the dragon, I would suggest darkening the sky somewhat, the wings almost blend into the background. (unless thats what the comissioner wants..x_x). And also I agree with changing the neck, when I try and follow the line of it, it just doesnt work...just seems odd(fumbling to find words to describe it at the moment)

I really like the bright colors. The anatomy is really good. that was always my problem when drawing dragons. But you did a great job. I really like the wing! CAn't wait to see it when its finished

Thank you. The angle of the neck I considered changing. The actual dragon is quite snakelike and a hybrid between a western and an asian. The colors...not to be mean to my commissioner, are very bright and rainbowish. Purple to cyan wings. Bright orange yellow body.
The colors are NOT my decision. If they were you'd see something much more different.
Carry on.

Looks pretty good thus far. As for constructive critism...You should lay more colors on the dragon, to give him/her a more realistic look and also more solid depth. Unless you're aiming for that asian stylized look.
Theres really not much to fix...just continue and thicken the colors and add more detail.
The only thing I might say to change would be the angle of the neck...I'm not sure though...

i would reconsider, the blue in the wings. Unless, of course, that's part of the unfinishedness... It reminds me very much of the dragons I've seen from a DnD monster manual. It is a very promising piece though, the curvature of the neck especially.
