Description Sorry for the title abbreviation - would have shortened "leopards" too if that were possible without making people think I was talking about lions.

I drew the jaguar and a leopard in a similar pose and compared them. I could always tell them apart, but what little details differ? Clearly exhaustive analysis makes me happy.

It's impressive to see work like this, and by someone who can explain one subject so clearly for those who don't quite understand the exstravegent words of science.

(coughthosewhodonthaveabiggervocabularyco ugh)

This is lovely and how you drew them, always seems as if you placed so much detail but really not? I believe the leopards more appealing then the jaguar

When I was a kid I went for jaguars because they were burly and tougher-looking than the smaller leopard.

But now, I agree: leopards are much more graceful-looking than the clunky jaguar, and I find them more beautiful overall.

The leopard would be the mom and the jaguar the over protective father.

Hehe, nice comparison. I can tell 'em apart from the spots

Yeah, the spots were always a dead giveaway for me, and I knew jaguars were heavier... but I'd never looked at the more subtle ways they differ... t'was really fun.

So...I wonder what a leopard/jaguar crossbreed would look like? Hmmm...
