Very cool. I think your concept and execution are pretty solid. I think the colored pencils could have really been popped more if you had about 1.5 inches of focus starting at the tips of them. Good composition. Maybe some more light or just a hue shift on the pencils to pull them forward even more would look good. Keep it up - I'm liking your eye.

Thank you very much! I know what you mean - the lighting was pretty hard to work with, and I was working with a kit lens, so the focus isn't exactly what I had wanted.
