Description May these thousand winters swiftly pass...

This is done for the event My New First Year's Alone , a writing event ran by RodgerDodger where the artists draw a picture off of a short worded prompt, which then serves as a prompt for the writers. The results are then thrown to the public for judging. Admittedly, it's pretty fun to see what stories your pictures has inspired.

There's no need to apologize. Looking though my other works, I see that I simply tend to draw very long necks on alicorns. Heh, maybe I have a thing for giraffes.

Thanks for your kind words. I do try to improve with every piece, making each new work be something I can call the best one I've ever made. It doesn't go that way most of the time, but, doggoneit, I try. Glad to hear that this one turned out well.

Oh, and I haven't forgotten about your request. Things are just moving a bit sluggishly in general as of late, but hopefully I'm starting to get back into my artistic groove.

I love the rest Ponyphonic's works as well. Heh, I always have a weakness to those thoughtful piano music. If you like those, then I think you might also like Markarian's works as well, particularly "Monument" and "The B".
